On Wednesday, Nov. 27, just one day ahead of Thanksgiving, President Barack Obama tweeted out a Vox article which dedicated some gratuities on how to “argue better” during the holiday season . The article, entitled “Most people are bad at debating. These 2 skills will offset you better” argues that using science can meet individuals’ reasons stronger, without losing stability. Along with sharing the link, Obama also penned a caption heartening social media customers to take a look at the commodity and repeated a piece from it. Obama wrote,
Before arguing with friends or genealogy around the Thanksgiving counter, take a look at the science behind debating better. And it’ll never hurt to try this: ‘Listen to parties, get them to think about their own experience, and highlight your common humanity.’
