Under Mr. Zuckerberg’s overall security program, we pay for costs related to personal safety for Mr. Zuckerberg at his residencies and during personal expedition, including the annual costs of security personnel for his shelter and the procurement, installation, and maintenance of certain security measures for his residences.
The company likewise approved a” pre-tax permit of $10 million to Mr. Zuckerberg to extend additional costs related to his and his family’s personal security .”
Zuckerberg’s security payments are high in comparison with other tech CEOs, Business Insider reports. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi was compensated only over$ 2 million for security last year, Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos was reimbursed $1.6 million for security in 2018.
