A breakdown of National Records of Scotland( NRS) data has revealed that male-dominated hassles, such as farm workers or tradesmen, have a higher suicide rate than other occupations.
However, it is unemployed people who represent the biggest category of those taking their own lives.
The number of suicides in Scotland increased by 15% last year.
This hike came after a decrease in the suicide rate over the previous decade.
